I know that Sylvia fought a long, courageous fight against brain cancer, that spanned many years.  She raised a family, had a successful career as a law librarian (I believe), and a loving relationship with her husband, a professor of Engineering in Texas.  Sylvia was a quiet presence in our high school class. Her mother, Olivia, was our Girl Scout leader for many years, and Sylvia shared her calm, steady character.

Thank you Sandra for your comment. I was sad to hear Sylvia had passed.  She was a very sweet, quite, smart girl.

I'm very sad to learn of Sylvia's untimely passing. She was a lovely person. Condolences to her family and those she was close to in later years. 😟

I am so sorry to hear about Sylvia's long illness and her subsequent passing.  I always thought she was a kind lady. I'm sure she will be sorely missed.  RIP.  Sylvia.
