Xenika Barbara Poehling of Coon Valley passed away on July 21, 2021, at her home. She was born on April 25, 1948, to Marion J. (Kreibich) and William Hoch. She married James M. Poehling on September 5, 1970.

A lifelong lover of all animals, she had three dogs that were pet therapy dogs. She spent many years as an animal communicator and was a Tellington Touch practitioner and teacher.

She is survived by her husband, James, and one aunt, Bertha Hoch. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no services. Coulee Region Cremation Group of Onalaska is assisting the family.
