Tim E. Kruschek, 57, died Sept. 4, 2005, at his home in Payallup, WA, after a valiant fight with cancer.

He was born April 19, 1948, in La Crosse to Leo and Florence (Newburg) Kruschek.  He spent four years in the US. Air Force.  He then returned to La Crosse and graduated from UW-La crosse.  He was a long-time valued employee of the Veterans Administration, serving in several states and advancing to the position of director of human resources.

Tim is survived by his loving wife, Patsy; daughters, Erica and Kristin, all of Payallup; his brother, Jim; and special friend, Barb Nickelotti of De Soto, WI; sisters, Gloria Mickschl of La Crosse and Judy (Al) Washko of Omaha, NE; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.  Tim was buried in Mountain View Cemetery in Oregon City, OR.

A celebration of Tim's life was held Saturday, Oct. 22 at Blaschke Schneider Funeral Home.  Memorials preferred to Aquinas High School or the American Cancer Society.
