After high school I went to UofO and got my BA in International Studies and a Second Language Acquisition and Teaching Certification. I went back to Brazil and taught for 6 months and then moved to Portland for a couple of years. In 2005 I moved to Japan to teach English and that's where I met and married my wonderful husband Alan. We lived in Japan for 3 years and now we've just relocated to England. I've just started teaching at Newcastle International School of English and am happy to announce that we are expecting our first child in December :-)
