Rose Mary (Farrell) Jewell, 35, of Lafayette died at 12:15 p.m. Sunday, February 11, 2007. Born in Lafayette on October 5, 1971 to Richard "Dick" and Donna (Kraft) Farrell of Lafayette, she was a lifetime resident. She was a 1990 graduate of Lafayette Jefferson High School. She was a clerical worker for Lafayette Venetian Blind for 1 year and previously worked as an inspector for 4 years at SIA. She loved to use the phone and loved to watch her son play baseball. Surviving with her parents are two sons, Duston and Dillon Jewell of Lafayette; two brothers, Ed Farrell (companion: Jennifer) of West Lafayette and Danny Farrell of Oxford, FL; two half sisters, Cindy Yike (husband: Ron) of Logansport, and Codie Parkinson (husband: Mike) of Tampa, FL, and a half brother, Carl Wiesjahn (wife, Kathy) of Oxford, FL. Visitation from 12:00 p.m. to service time at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 16, 2007 at Hippensteel Funeral Home. Celebrant Carla Ellis officiating. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery. Three nieces and 2 nephews also survive. Preceded in death by a half brother, Curtis Wiesjahn. Memorials to American Cancer Society. Hippensteel Funeral Home entrusted with care.
