Yo Phil Cat, so sorry to read this sad news. Rest in Peace buddy.. "One L no S." I remember unlimited po' boys your mom made in the freezer, climbing over the chain link in the back of the practice field to get there....

Shared many years of school in Lake Forest, and while not close, felt an attachment through our mothers who were close as we were growing up and beyond. She told me how he was there for his mother in her later years as her sight disappeared and how he helped so many others in his job, a real loss.

How sad to learn about the passing of Jim

Oh Jim I am so sad to hear that you have passed from this life to the next. I’m sure you have answers to many questions we all have.

I want to be honest about our relationship. You were a team mate, not quite a friend but a memory for sure. I have this vivid memory of you holding the football high  as you broke the scoring record for our conference in the 1973 football season. I was a bit player on that team. But loved being included.  Could it get any better than that?  I hope so for your sake. I have been blessed with a full life that has eclipsed those high school “highs”. I hope the same for you.

Rest In Peace Jim!
