LAKELAND -- Mrs. Ruby Mae Barnes of Lakeland died of heart disease May 10, 2004, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. She was 50.
Born in Sparta, Ga., she came to Lakeland from there in 1958. She was a seamstress for Nathan's Men Store for several years. She was a member of New Mount Zion M.B. Church.
Mrs. Barnes is survived by her son, Kevin Barnes, Lakeland; brothers, Hubert Collins, Milledgeville, Ga., Eugene Barnes, Alexander Barnes, Carl Barnes, all of Lakeland; sister, Geraldine Burkes, Tampa.
Services will be at 11 this morning at New Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery in Fuller Heights.
