Richard Alan Homan was the son of Netta Marie Ezell and Robert Edward Homan. He was a brother to David Bryon Homan, Steven Randall Homan, and Vikki Lynn Homan. Richard Alan was married to Tammy Marie Hood on April 2, 1985 in Lakeland, Fl. They had two children: Richard Alan Homan, II, and Laura Ann Homan. Ricky had a step-daughter, Brandy Marie Williams. Ricky and Tammy divorced. Ricky was killed in a car accident in Florida while returning home to his wife to be, Rene. He was cremated and most of his ashes spread on Penacola Beach in the Gulf of Mexico.
