So sad to hear of Chris's passing. She will surely be missed! Below are comments from her roommate Karen Kauffman Carroll.

   "I will never forget my "Roomie". I lost track of her after I moved to the York area in 1985. She was beautiful inside and out, with never a negative word about anyone. Her beautiful bright smile and blue eyes attracted her share of med students. I will never forget laying awake in the middle of the night laughing hysterically. Try as we might, no matter how bizarre, strange or made up, we could not find a first name that didn't go with the surname "Heidenhofer". (The last name of the current med student from Temple that she was dating at the time!) Thanks to the joys of Google, I actually checked..he is in Texas!
