Charles Rhimer VIEW PROFILE

Charles F. 'Cholly' Rhimer of Trevose - Feasterville passed away Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2016, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Ever the spirited and humorous entertainer, he left this world as a cheerful and positive influence on all, holding tight to the grace of Jesus Christ upon whom he placed his faith.

Born in Philadelphia in 1961, Charles moved to Oakford with his family as a young boy and lived in the Bucks County area for the rest of his life. A graduate of Neshaminy High School in 1980, he worked at Budd Company for a number of years as a journeyman toolmaker. Since then, he has worked many jobs, including machinist, moldmaker, hvac, and carpentry. Prior to his illness, Charles worked for Strauss Engineering. Charles loved working with his hands, and through the years helped work on many projects both at home and for friends, and was always the guy people could call on for help.

Preceded in death by his father, Earl and his triplet brother, George, Charles is survived by his beloved children, Jamie, Carla Grace, and Sam; his precious grandchildren, Colin, Hannah, Bella, and Ayla; and his partner, Cathi Cirone. He is also survived by his mother, Regina; sister, Jeannie Rhimer Duerr; sister, Janice Pasquine (Ben); his brother, Earl (Ray), and brother, John (Linda). He loved his many nieces and nephews and had an abundance of good friends. Charles filled his life with those he cherished, spending time fishing, hanging at the Neshaminy Creek, riding his motorcycle, and frequenting the local spots where he became known to all. He counted himself so blessed by all the many visitors during his last days.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 28, at Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia, 13500 Philmont Avenue, Philadelphia. Visitors will be received at 9 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow directly thereafter at Hillside Cemetery on Susquehanna Road in Roslyn.
