Wendy Lee (Walton) Chieffo, 59, of Lancaster, and previously of Bolton, died Sunday, February 20, 2022 in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family, following an illness.

She leaves her husband of 37 years, Paul T. Chieffo; their daughter, Hannah E. Chieffo and her wife, Sara Chieffo, of Worcester; her parents: Edward C. Walton, Jr. and his wife, Marcia, of Punta Gorda, FL, and Jacqueline L. (Thierjung) Hollister and her husband, Dennis, of NC; three brothers: Edward J. Walton and his wife, Janet, of PA, Richard Walton and his wife, Karen, of FL and Steven Walton and his wife, Stephanie, of NC; a niece, Samantha Walton, of PA; father-in-law, Walter Chieffo, of FL, and mother-in-law, Beverly Chieffo, of Clinton; several cousins, and dear friends.

Born in Bristol, PA, Wendy earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from W.P.I. and a M.A. in Religion and Psychology from Andover Newton Theological School.

For over ten years, Wendy worked for Nashoba Nursing & Hospice as its Volunteer Coordinator, and then as Spiritual Counselor.

She was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Clinton, and a long-time member of the church choir.  Wendy enchanted everyone with her infectious sense of humor.  She was an avid birder who found joy and solace walking in the woods.  She also loved reading, poetry, and summers spent in Rindge, NH.
