Kim - you are doing an awesome job. I know when you said you wanted to take all this on I tease you and said you were crazy - too much work. I'm glad you did this whole idea of a web page just for our class is really a
great idea.

Kim,
Like the others who've added messages to this forum, I too want thank you for putting this site together. It's the kind of thing I'd always think of doing and never do, and I am grateful you actually thought it AND did it:-)

Hi,
I came across this site quite by accident.
Last night we were with friends drinking their homemade raspberry wine and talking about how many of our relationships through out life are based on convenience & proximity… and subsistence’s like wine ;)
How people who were once so important to you often just fade away. No fault of anyone… it just is.
Then someone suggested doing a Google search on people you’d like to reconnect with.
So at 4 am this morning when I had nothing better to do, I googled Susan Buchholz & Andrea Pecuch and this site came up. Too wild.
My best to everyone.

Glad you liked the pics Kim, and although I left the photography business only 4 short weeks ago-
I will always love taking pictures!

The survey was a great idea but didn't leave me enough room to elaborate-
which I am good at doing-lol

My thoughts on the reunion are "Keep It Simple"
I don't think we need any gimmicks like door prizes-
The point of a reunion is to "re-unite" and catch up with each other.

I attended the 10th 15th and 20th reunions a lot of work went into each and everyone had a great time!
Sharon Norton printed everyone's high school yearbook photo and made them into our name tags!
What a wonderful thing to do- and what a task-
Having a photographer there is always nice and Beth and Lori put together a really nice who's who and who's where type of letter which was included in the yearbook that we could purchase.

The problem that I do recall from the 20th reunion was that the hall was much too big- (it was great while we were eating) but everyone was scattered across the room-
there was no intimacy-
the DJ was much too loud and there was not a whole lot of dancing going on.
Most people seemed to migrate towards the bar area where we could hear ourselves talk-
and although some of us missed our chance at a door prize- that is NOT why we were there!

So my suggestion is to do something on a smaller scale-
Music and dancing is fun and should be included if it is not over powering-
AND it would be nice to have it in the summer- that would be different anyway.
School is out and I think most people like to travel in the summer and have vacation time too-

Just a few thoughts!

Thanks again for doing this!!
Donna

MINI REUNIONS - GET TOGETHERS

YOU KNOW THERE ARE QUITE A FEW OF US IN FLORIDA AND SO FAR I HAVE FOUND 4 OF US IN ARIZONA SO WHY NOT TRY TO GET EVERYONE IN THEIR RESPECTIVE AREAS TOGETHER FROM TIME TO TIME I THINK IT WOULD BE FUN
REMEMBER IF YOU ARE TRAVELING TO ANOTHER CITY YOU COULD CHECK AND SEE IF THERE IS AN OLDFRIEND IN THAT AREA YOU COULD MESSAGE THEM AND SEE ABOUT HAVING A DRINK TOGETHER WHLE YOUR THERE

Hi All,

I like the idea of a smaller venue as well. That gives us the ability to really mix together even if we didn't "hang out" in high school. I also like the idea of it being in the Spring/Summer. That gives me plenty of time to lose the last 10+ pounds I put on after my last baby (she's 18!). LOL. No excuses right?

Thanks for starting this site. There wasn't much conversation happening on the classmates.com site and this is so much more personal.

I'm all the way out in CA now but would be interested in coming back for a reunion in 2010, I still have family in that area.

I like the idea of a BBQ during a summer day. Outdoor stuff like frisbee, volleyball, softball.

Do we have any travel agents amounst us?

GO EAGLES!

Kim,

An incredibly excellent idea! Thank You for following through. I remember High School so well. Although, I wasn't a very social person I do remember so many names and have a great many memories of everyone. My life has gone in so many directions and places that I really don't have a Home Town anymore. This site has brought me home, if just a little.

Thank You,

John "The Rock" Giblin

Hey Kim (and others),

I voted for the Fire House location, but unlike when we were in school, I now am a talker and I have to say WHY I chose the Fire Company (Alex Shapiro tells me that he thought I was 'aloof' and 'a little snobby' way back when, because i didn't say much--I just was damn shy)

Anyway, I digress:

A Former Classmates Reasoning:

1. I 'worked' at Bolton Mansion during Halloween for a few years, back in the day, and for me that place will always be a 'haunted' house.

2. I love the other parks--especially Core Creek, but we might want music, etc. and, even though we could have that there, there isn't any privacy. I, for one, plan on performing the dance Beyonce does for Ring on It--only without the long legs, hot body, voice, or great moves. So, as you can imagine, I don't want all of Core Creek to witness this event. I'll only feel comfortable with people I haven't seen in 30 years. In addition, I know there are others who will want to show their hidden talents, for example: Nancy Ream-Ream does a mean McDonough walk, Alex Shapiro loves to yodel, and Donna (Norwood) Lutz is a sick rap artist.

3. All joking aside, I just think that there will be more planning options if the reunion is held at the Firehouse.
