Ann and I didn't know each other very well but when my husband Shawn was sick with cancer, back in 1999, I ran into her in the pharmacy. She was very kind and thoughtful and had offered me any supplies such as ace wrap, bandages, etc. if I was in need. She had said that she had an abundant supply due to her own situation. She was very very thoughtful and I will never forget her generousity. It was one of several times that I had run into her since I had moved back to Baraga County. There were other times in which she and I talked briefly about her home life and children. She was really proud of them and it was just really cool to get to talk with her about them.
