Interestingly enough; "The Apple Doesn't Fall too Far from the Tree"....  Or - remember when your parents use to say, "Someday I hope you have a child just like you"!  Some of us have gotten lucky, and for others... Well, in some ways the curse of our parents took effect.

I wanted to share some interesting information that I have become aware of.  In advance, I want to warn you, that what you are about to read is not only shocking; but most disgusting to say the least.

First - Parents be aware of your Teens & Pre-teens ways of getting high.

There is a popular Legal Drug (in some states, one being Michigan) called: Salvia.  It is smoked and represents the effects of LSD, while also frying the brains of our little off-springs.

VODKA - Isn't just a cocktail anymore - It is being snorted with a shot glass (Ouch!).  Much more disturbing is young girls absorb tampons in vodka and insert them into the vagina.  And boys...  Well, the "Ole Beer Bong" has found another use; while filling it up with Vodka, inserting it into the anus...essentially - Getting drunk faster. 

If you are a late arriver to parties, and want to "catch-up" with the rest of its attendees - I highly don't recommend these alternatives.  Instead, start drinking earlier!  (J/K)

With all joking aside - Young girls using the "Vodka Tampon" approach are more apt to get bacterial and yeast infections, and over time the vaginal wall starts to break-down - While the anus approach does the same.  In both cases, including "snorting Vodka"... the alcohol bi-passes the essential organs that breaks down, and processes the alcohol... In turn the alcohol hits the bloodstream immediately, which is extremely dangerous.

Finally, over-the-counter cold medications, and Prescription Drugs!  Most of us already know this one, but I myself am guilty of just leaving things in my boys reach.  Please, please lock them up and/or hide them!

This news was very shocking to me.  I always thought I had to worry about drinking, smoking weed, and sex.  It is very scary what our children have come to do for the ultimate "high". 

Please, if you have new ways of how kids are getting high; please share them with us.  I know I want to be on the "up & up".
