Roger Lee Pixley

April 1, 1939 - August 4, 2017

Roger Lee Pixley, 78, went home to be with the Lord where he joined his princess Bella August 4, 2017. He was surrounded by his loving family at his home in Bath, Michigan. Roger was born in Lansing to Elmer and Wilma Pixley on April 1, 1939.  Roger was a devoted MSU fan and season ticket holder for football and basketball for over 30 years. Roger's hobbies were fishing, hunting, bowling, golf and softball. Roger loved to coach his children in sports and never missed a game.  He also enjoyed camping with his family on the lakeshores of Northern Michigan and traveling to Colorado and Hawaii.

Roger will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Rhonda (Kevin) Pixley Hoard and Robin (Eric) Pixley Carlson; his son, Rick Alan Pixley; his grandchildren, Nathan (Shawn), April (Travis), Nick (Elizabeth), Nickolas (Crystal), Rachel (Jerremy), Nicole (Dillon), Emily (Joe), Roger, Jacob, Joseph, and Jon; and his great-grandchildren, Dylan, Kendal, Lyla, Kylie, Axel, Louie, Elias, Little Nick; and his adopted daughter, Char Riggs.

A memorial service will be held on, August 12, 2017 at 1:00 pm at House of Prayer, 9940 Old M-78, Haslett.

Memorial contributions may be made in Roger's honor to the House of Prayer Children's Ministry.
