Richard James Mann Sr. "Dick"

Richard James Mann, "Dick," passed away November 5, 2014. He was the oldest of three sons born to Roger and Lenore Mann. Richard was born on August 11, 1939 in Lansing, Michigan. He graduated from Eastern High School in 1957.

Dick was employed at John Henry Printing Company and Rex Printing Company.

He started his own company in the basement of his home, with his experience and knowledge, Delta Printing Company. As the company grew he moved to Oakland Street and was CEO from 1974-1998.

Dick was a paramedic and cook in the Michigan National Guard for 32 years.

He joined the Delta Township Fire Department as a volunteer. He proudly served for 20 years as a fire fighter and EMT.

Dick is survived by his three children; Roger Mann, Robyn (Mark) Bellner and Rick (Kristy) Mann Jr.; brothers, Robert (Joan) and John (Donna) Mann. Also surviving are 18 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, ex-wife, Carol Mann [Carol Rahl - LEHS June '57], nieces, nephews and his faithful dog, Chloe.

Funeral Services will be held, Monday, November 10, 2014, 11:00 AM at the Palmer, Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Home, Delta Chapel with Chaplain Steve Ezop officiating. Interment will take place at Ft. Custer National Cemetery in Battle Creek, MI. The family will receive relatives and friends, Sunday, November 9, 2014, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Eaton County Meals on Wheels in memory of Dick.
