Ora Kay Canafax,

Mrs. Canafax, age 35, died Jan. 27, 1975. She was a life long resident of the Lansing area. She was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church. She was employed with the Lansing School District for many years. Surviving are: husband, James L.; 1 son, James L. Jr.; parents Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Bowers of Lansing; 2 brothers, Harold Bowers of Orleans, Mich, and Wayne Bowers of Grand Ledge. Religious services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Estes-Leadley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Richard Rogers and Rev. William Hartman officiating, with interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Bearers are: Rodney Bowers, Timothy Bowers, Gregory Bowers, Jeff Canafax, Forrest Garl and Patrick Garl.
