David Braaf

R.I.P David Braaf. David was a loving father, husband, son, and friend.

Boynton Beach police said a waitress at Nini's Pizza on Monday evening noticed two men out in the parking lot pacing back and forth between two cars. They eventually took off in a red Ford Explorer.

In a silver Nissan left behind, investigators found the bullet-riddled body of David Braaf. He worked as a night manager at the nearby RaceTrac gas station, and was well known to the owner of the pizza shop and many others in the area.

"David is a good kid," friend Adam Dronceler said. "He has a wife and two kids. He knows about my daughter. He asks about my daughter every day."

RaceTrac officials declined to comment, but added that they're cooperating with police. And while they have turned over surveillance video, they said it has nothing to do with the homicide.

Police said the Nissan had been stolen during a carjacking in Riviera Beach several days ago.
