Karissa Jones Johnson

Well after graduating from LHS I went to Morgan State Univerisity (BMORE) continued with the life of a cheerleader and graduated with a B.S. degree in Accounting and a minor in Computer Information Systems. Then I moved back home after graduation because I was broke and joined the federal government as an Auditor while maintaining a bartending job on the side. I deployed to Kuwait in 2007 in support of Iraqi Freedom and it was a real experience! I earned my MBA in Dec 2007 through online courses because my fulltime job was/is very demanding in the travel aspect.

I started riding motorcycles in 2005 and enjoy that time because its a huge stress reliever! I am a newleywed as I was recently married in Nov 2008 and started a new job 3 weeks after. What more can I say... Life is good!

Well when I came to Largo I really didn't know anyone minus the folks that lived in my neighborhood because I went to middle school in Ft. Washington. But I was befriended by many.

I remember getting suspended my freshman year for getting caught smoking... Sitting in Ms. Slay's chemistry class 10th grade and realizing that I need glasses because the chalk board was blurry. Joining the Academy of Finance 11th and 12th grade and taking an overnight field trip to NY!!! College tour to UMES. The football and basketball games... I was all in the mix because I cheered or was the statistician for the Varsity basketball team. The ski trip to 7 springs for New Years and the secluded senior trip to Cancun (5 deep: Erin Wren, Wandette Watkins, Crystal Fairweather, Tamika Marshall and myself) for those that didn't want to go to Florida. And who could forget the house parties...

I really enjoyed myself at Largo and wouldn't take anything away from it. To this day I see people from Largo since I'm in the area. I can't wait for the reunion! I know everyone pretty much looks the same.
