William was a great person. We swam together in LCAT and LCHS swim team. He had an infectious smile, an addicting sense of humor and was just one of the most genuine and intelligent people I have ever met. I remember one day, after swim practice, we were horsing around, he grabbed me by the ankles and hung me upside down threatening to take me into the men's locker room. I was kicking and screaming. I remember being mad for a fraction of a second and then laughing for a long time. He always made swim practice fun.

William was one of the funniest, sweetest people I knew. He appears in Steel Magnolias in the locker room scene that takes place after the football game. In typical William fashion, he parades behind Olympia Dukakis several times during that scene.

William was a true intellectual. I talked to him about everything. He was so beautiful, fun, loving, so much more! Gosh what a flirt!

I will always remember you!!

I knew William and his family well through school and church. I remember the whole Foiani clan walking into church (and there were a lot of them) and lining up in the chairs for mass. He always had a smile on his face that lit up a room and was full of energy and life. Days were a little less bright with his passing.

As everyone else has said, William was truly an amazing person. I didn't know anyone who could make me laugh as hard as he could.

I have far too many memories of William to put them all down here . . . but we did get in a TON of trouble in Mr. Green's honors geometry class for talking too much! We had so much fun annoying him!

He was one of the kindest and most genuine people I have ever known.

William's passing did hit me hard...that was probably the largest funeral I have ever been to (no disrespect intended). It showed just how many people he touched.

I had gone to school w/ William since Junior High and we had become close in band - he quit band to be in modernaires once we were in high school but he had such a bubbly personality and great responses to all questions posed - we had a science teacher (can't remember her name) but everyday she would tease him about stains on his shirt and what he had eaten for lunch - he always had a response ready and never took offense to her pointing out "did you have pizza today William?"...he would just laugh and say something like "actually no, that's ketchup from my french fries but thanks for asking"...he loved to laugh and always greeted me w/ his version of a verse from a song by "Starship"...he would sing "Knee-deep in the Pooplah"

Isn't it funny...the things we choose to remember?

My precious William, I have missed you everyday sincd you left. You were the warmest, kindest, most giving person I ever had the pleasure to be in my life. I remember going for rides in your jeep, taking off to go swimming with Dana Campbell and... cant remember who else. I remember you giving Dana your camera so she would come in my room and take "pictures of me while I was changing" Thats okay though. You could have those pictures back for one more moment with you. I loved you my brother. We had a tremendous amount of fun together. And that laugh of yous, i still hear it sometimes, then I know you are there, an angel, in life as it is in death. I love you always my friend
