Nadine Sena Lucero

Right after High School, I attended WNMU in Silver City. I received my certificate in Law Enforcement. I worked at the Las Vegas Police Dept.(yes, as a Police Officer!!)for three years and dispatcher some of the time. I got married in 1990 to Ray, had our first beautiful baby,Cassandra, in December. She was premature and was with us for only four days. Ray was born in 1991 and Robyn in 1994. Since becoming parents, our world revolves around our kids. I've been very fortunate to be able to have my job, making me available to my kids when they need me during school hours.

I will never forget my Senior year for Marlene's birthday! Well, I was always afraid to ditch school or taking any chances with anything, and my friends would tell me I was boring and I had to go to the airport area with them cause they were having a party for Marlena, and since it was during school they promised to have me back by the time the bus left for home. Well. I went and was so uncomfortable the whole time, there were large trash cans full of jungle juice and lots of party animals! I finally asked for a ride back to school. Well, I got dropped off, I think by Laurie Ortega, right at where Mr. Garcia was standing while the buses were loading!! I felt like crap!! Mr. Montenegro(he was so mean-looking to began with)interrogated me and let's just say I didn't take the blame for anything!! I think that Marlena's dad had bought her a vehicle for her birthday and didn't find her at school or something. That was an experience!!
