Peter Alexander Witkowski, 67, a two year resident of Edgewater, MD and previously of Crofton, MD for 18 years, died at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis on Thursday, December 19 due to a heart attack. Born on March 21, 1952 in Hammersmith, London to the late Alexander and Jean Witkowski, Peter earned a bachelor of science degree in business and public administration from the University of Maryland. He worked as a general manager with Clean Edge and the Fitch Co. Peter enjoyed baseball, cars, history and being with his family. He was the beloved husband of 30 years of Lisa Witkowski; father of Alexander Witkowski of Edgewater, MD and Emma (Ryan Crim) Witkowski of Virginia Beach, VA; brother of John (Theresa) Witkowski of Sykesville, MD and Elizabeth Witkowski of Falls Church, VA; brother-in-law of Linda Keppler, Laura and Jeff Gilmartin, Buddy and Francie Sekely and Laverne and Buddy Zimmer; uncle of Adrianne Witkowski, Diana (Justin) Sherrill, Jenna (Sean) Reily, Sarah Zimmer, Carlie (Matt) Wesche, Drew Sekely and Brad (Kristin) Keppler.

Memorial service will be held at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Friday, December 27 at 12:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
