My partner, Jerry, and I just spent a wonderful weekend in Manhattan staying with David Hendricks, his partner, Bob, and his beautiful dog, Jessie. Had a great time remembering St. Andy's and the adventures, struggles (C&C Ludlow, maybe?) etc. Also had a great dinner with the four of us and Elaine (Ellwell) Warner! We plan more!....anyone in the area of the Northeast Corridor want to join in>

Rick, thanks for taking on this challenge.
I have sincerely appreciated the telephone calls and wonderful conversations from beach weekend. Unfortunately, when Bonnie Grier Johnson called when you were last together, I was recovering from another bout with colon cancer having metastasized to the liver and surgery and then allergic reaction to one of the chemotherapy drugs and was in the hospital for 3 weeks in a fight for survival. My sister didn't want to wake me and I was disappointed I didn't get to talk to you all again. Perhaps Inga and I can join you on one of these occasions. In spite of the above, I am now doing extremely well. I have had an amzaing recovery from each of the challenges I've faced these past 20 months. I'm still taking chemo--in fact had and IV today. I also take a daily oral medication. All counts are excellent and don't anticipate anything more for the time.
Thanks to you and friends for your thinking of me. I cherish your friendship(s) and have so many fond memories of our days at St. Andrews.
I send my love to all of you.
