I spoke to Steve's dad this spring. He told me that Steve had gone into the medical profession as an Emergency Room Trauma Nurse. Steve was accidently stuck by a needle used in treating someone with severe Hepatitus. Steve consequently developed Hepatitus himself. Had to have a liver transplant which he body rejected. Steve died a few months later. He left behind a wife and young son.
