Ahhh...Michael, whenever I think of you it brings a smile to my face. All the memories are good ones, and that's the way it should be. Whenever I hear the band "Boston" I stil think of you, as I recall they were one of your favorites.
I'll never forget the day you passed away, Tom and I were at Mass General, he had just had his second surgery and your situations were so similar, it was all so scarey. I was so apprehensive to tell him about you, but we had a good cry and tried to think of only the good times. Missing you, big time...RIP
XOXO Denise (Neiser, as you called me)

Hey Michael,
Like so many of us, I too remember the day you died. I had just spoken with you a few days earlier telling you I'd be home in less than two weeks...but you couldn't hold on. I remember the deep sorrow in my heart...I also remember feeling pissed 'cuz I'd never see you again and I would miss your funeral by only a few days.
That afternoon a very large man wearing a very large down jacket attempted to mug me as I got out of my car. (Two of my boys were still buckled into their car seats.) I unleashed all that anger I was feeling on the poor soul. He ended up running away from me after I was done with him. Thanks Michael, for always being there for me. You were my best guy friend from high school. I love you. MAC
