Lynda Gayle McStoots, age 43, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Monday, (July 15, 2013) at her father’s residence in Leitchfield.

She was born on February 10, 1970, in Leitchfield, KY, the daughter of Mack McStoots and Mary Lou Mudd McStoots.

She was disabled, and enjoyed shopping, fishing and spending time with her animals. She is survived by her fiancé; Lawrence Skaggs of Leitchfield, KY, one daughter; Jessica Skaggs of Radcliff, KY, her father; Mack McStoots of Leitchfield, her mother; Mary Lou McStoots (Clifford) of Leitchfield, KY, and her best friend; Cathy Buis. Many aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

She was preceded in death by her granddaughter; Layla Marie Skaggs, three uncles; Clarence, Jimmy and Ronnie McStoots, paternal grandparents, Clinton and Ulva McStoots, her maternal grandparents; James and Marie Mudd and a cousin; Eric Quinn Seaton.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, (July 19, 2013) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Ed Cockriel and Bro. Howard Shartzer will be officiating. Burial will be in the New Freedom Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of services.
