Has there been any kind of date set for the reunion?  If so, do you have any details on that?

I got an Email from Paula asking for suggestions about where/when for the reunion.  However, haven't heard a consesus of ideas or when.

I liked the Joe Wheeler setting last time.  Heard there was a new place opening up in Athens to have events.  That may be a good option. Or we could have it at the house of the classmate who's made it the biggest and ruin their pool...

Canebrake would be great. Just my 2 cents. I will be there no matter what.

I'm like Kevin, Canebrake sounds great to me too. I didn't particularly like Joe Wheeler the last time. Other areas would be optional but sorry. Anyway can we not have it on Sept 11th. What about Sept. 18th or 25th or October 9th if were looking for a Fall date. What about something earlier in the Summer time? These are just some ideas. Looking forward to seeing everyone. In the end, if the date doesn't work for me, someone can just post pictures for me. I have been to a reunion at Canebrake at the clubhouse and it was nice and also at the Marriott in Hutsville by the Space and Rocket Center. That was nice and you could spend the night if you wanted. The cost was about the same. It was catered at both places and a liquor bar was set up also for the ones that wanted it. Thanks for listening.

I think Point Mallard has deals in the evenings to rent out that park.  Maybe do a get together at Point Mallard for kids and family and pick another place for a more "Formal event".  I've never been to Canebrake but it has a good reputation.

Has anyone considered having it at West in their gym and maybe a potluck?  That may help some people out in this economy.  However, the alcohol would still have to brought in like the old days... in the trunk of someone's car or under the seat... 

I can help plan if anyone would like some help.  I've organized an event or two in the last 20 years... Just let me know!
