In 1989, Ruthie contributed this for our 25th reunion...

Hi, Gang -
I sure do miss all of you. One of these years I would sure love to come back for Alumnae Sunday or our Class Reunion. It would be great to see everyone again.

I now live 50 miles east of Fairbanks, Alaska, on a homestead on top of some gorgeous mountains. Can you believe, me a mountain girl. No electricity, no inside plumbing or running water, snowmachine or fourwheelers only. Hunting, trapping, fishing, dog mushing, and gold digging is what the folks around here do for a living. We have 26 acres of land, five dogs and trhee cats. My husband Dean and I really enjoy our mountain retreat.

The grizzly bear, moose, wolves, lynx, fox and martin inhabit our mountain also. So far we all seem to keep a safe distance from one another.

I love to work on arts and crafts. I'm an avid reder, and love to bake bread and can anything from salmon to strawberry jam.

We are semi-retired and spend winters at home, and the rest of the year getting ready to spend winters at home.

My son is getting ready to start his first year in college.

Even though I won't be able to attend the reunion, I will be with you all in spirit. May God Bless all of you and your families.

I love you all ---

Ruthie
