Darrell Gene Hollingsworth

Darrell Gene Hollingsworth, 47, husband of Millie Barker Hollingsworth, passed away Friday in Lexington, at St. Joseph Hospital after a long illness. Mr. Hollingsworth was of son of Haskell Hollingsworth and the late Jimmie Ann White Hollingsworth. He was a retired water plant operator. He was a member of the Christian Assembly of God in Mt. Sterling. He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his brother Joseph Lee Hollingsworth, and his mother Jimmie Ann White Hollingsworth.

Survivors other than his wife Millie Barker Hollingsworth include his father Haskell Hollingsworth; his brothers Paul and wife Pam Hollingsworth, Tommy and wife Pauline Williams; his nephew Zachary Hollingsworth; and special friends Peggy and Jerry Hollingsworth. 

Services will be held Tuesday, July 9th, at 1:00 PM, at Lewis Funeral Home, with Bro. Robbie Conn officiating. Burial will follow in the Campbell Cemetery. Friends may call after 12:00 noon until service time Tuesday.

Pallbearers will be James Barker, Jerry Barker, Jimmy Barker, Bill Cochran, Joey Smith, and Chris Smith.
