Before my husband and I had kids, we had a Chihuahua named Charlie.  His original owner was an older woman who really didn't want him so she kept him in a coal cellar all the time.  We got him when he was 12 weeks old so the critical period for socialization was over, which means he was rather skittish around people and animals.  We worked hard to help him get over his anxiety by taking him to parks and having many visitors.  He really came around after awhile.  However, there was one person he NEVER liked even after 13 YEARS.  My brother in-law Ron loved Chuck but the feeling was definitely not mutual.   One day Ron decided to take Chuck out of his crate.   A very nice gesture, right?  Well, instead of being thankful, Chuck peed on Ron and bit him in the arm. 

We have a lab that does the same sort of thing! Everytime our State Police friend comes to visit in his uniform our lab Duke rolls over on his back and pees and it always gets our friend on his uniform shoes and pants!

Poor Dean!!! But Duke is still the cutest!!!!!
