Harry A. "Buck" Mears III, 39, of Southwest Greensburg, died Sunday, July 11, 2010, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. He was born Jan. 8, 1971, in Pittsburgh. He was a 1989 graduate of Ligonier High School. He graduated with honors from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a degree in computer science. He had worked as a programmer for IBM. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Harry A. and Emily D. Mears; and maternal grandparents, William H. and Thelma M. Lowry. He is survived by his father, Harry A. Mears Jr. and companion, Bette Lewandowski, of Greensburg; his mother, Lois L. Mears, of Latrobe; a sister, Leanne Robertson and fiance, Keith Ambrose, of Latrobe; a nephew, Joshua Robertson; a niece, Kali Robertson; and his dog, Roscoe. There will be no public visitation. Private interment will be in Ligonier Valley Cemetery. BARNHART FUNERAL HOME INC., Greensburg, is assisting the family with arrangements.
