Reunion Details
Hello, classmates!
I'd like to update you on your 20-year reunion.
Confirmed:
Friday night, August 6
1. Mixer at Chad's Blind. Cash bar and buy your own food. We'd like to keep many of our activities FREE for the weekend wherever possible. We'll begin at 6:00 in the evening--SEE YOU THERE!
Saturday morning, August 7
1. Memorial 5K Walk/Run
Please register to attend this family-friendly event. The event will take place at Memorial Park (by the Elk's Club) and will begin at 9 a.m. Cost is $15 per person, which includes a t-shirt. Kids can run/walk for free--no need to register them. Cost of this event will cover t-shirts--any money left over will go towards a permanent memorial to honor our classmates who are no longer with us. More details about activities surrounding this event will follow......
2. Tour of the high school: Who doesn't want to walk down memory lane??????? Please join us at 11:00 a.m. AFTER THE 5K to tour the high school. Bring your kids to show them where your locker was, where you took English class, etc. Fun for the entire family!
Saturday night, August 7
Dinner and dancing at the Knights of Columbus. The room has been reserved and Perry Groves will be spinning the tunes. Dinner will be a casual affair--think Famous Dave's at the KofC! We'll have pulled pork and wonderful picnic sides to go along with it. The cost of the dinner/dance, based on your votes, will be $35 PER PERSON. You may pay by credit/debit card online through the classcreator site, or by check payable to LCHS Class of 1990, mail to Jeanne Lessen-Scheurer, 15 Ophir Ave., Lincoln, IL 62656.
