Bill and my brother Ralph tried out for the football team together. I remember them staggering into the house together after the 1st week and deciding they'd rather focus on cars and motorcycles. Bill was always a really nice guy. I ran into him at a fair a few years ago, and he tried to convince me to get into beekeeping. He obviously loved it.
