Edward F. Burchess, 62, of Lincoln, died July 28, 2014 at BryanLGH Medical Center East after complications from lung cancer. Ed was born August 23, 1951 to Charles L. Burchess, Jr. and Marie E. (Schulze) Burchess in Lincoln, Neb. As a young adult Ed worked at his father's foundry. A longtime employee of Ready-Mix-Nebco until retiring this year due to health problems. Preceded in death by parents; sister, Constance Landers; and brothers-in-law, Norman Keiner and Robert Landers. Survived by brother, Charles L. (Shannon) Burchess III; sisters, Marilynn Keiner and Rita (David) White; nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends. Memorial Service: 10 a.m. Friday (8/1/14), Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 'O' Street with Pastor Gary Dunker of Faith Lutheran Church officiating. Inurnment, 11:30 a.m. at Lincoln Memorial Park.
