Robert O. Ifland, of Lincoln, passed away on May 5, 2017.  He was born on April 21, 1951, in Omaha to Myrel and Margaret (Vliet) Ifland.  He grew up in Lincoln, was a graduate of Northeast High School, and worked for Lincoln Telephone Co. for 30 years.  Bob became an Eagle Scout as a youth and enjoyed seeing his boys become Eagle Scouts.  Bob loved collecting antique telephones.  He enjoyed traveling with his wife and children, having visited most the United States.  Bob enjoyed his dogs (pugs) both growing up and after getting married.  He is survived by wife of 43 years, Elaine; son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Terri Ifland of Lincoln, son Bryan Ifland of Lincoln; grandchildren, Alicia and Ethan Drier; sister and brother-in-law, Sandy and Tedd Grulke, and nephew Matt Grulke.  Bob was preceded in death by his parents.  Funeral service to be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 10, at Roper and Sons, 4300  O Street.  Visitation 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, with family greeting friends from 6-8 p.m. Memorials may be given to Brain Injury Alliance of Nebraska, P.O.
