Michael was a good person. He was instrumental in me joining NFL and debate. When we were in the 10th grade - Michael, Ruth Brummett and I created our own open campus. We would leave school for lunch, which was forbidden at the time, and go to McDonald's in Ruth's car. I also remember Micheal and I teasing "Ruthless" about wearing her white jeans. Each time she wore them, we had an assembly in the gym and had to sit on the dirty tarps. The three of us had a lot of fun...
I found out about Michael's passing at the reunion. I am deeply saddened. Michael was a gentle spirited guy with so many talents. We were on yearbook staff together. Love each other ya'll.
