I blasted the class an email about the loss of our dear friend Reggie Heard.

I am going to post the information here as well for those who didn't read their emails, but came to the forum.

If anyone has any pics to share, please email them to me so I can add them to the memory page.

Funeral will be March 14, 2009 at Antioch Full Gospel Baptist Church, 3824 Antioch Blvd, College Station at 1 p.m. Services handled by Hardy Funeral Home, 2408 Dr Martin Luther King Drive.

It's 7pm this Saturday at Cajuns. I don't know who all is going to be going yet. All I know is there are a lot of folks from different years that are going to be there and Kim Mordecai said they were expecting a huge turnout.

I thought I would post it on here in case some folks didn't know about it and see who was planning on going. I won't be able to attend. It's racing season for us and we are usually at some race track on Saturdays.

Tonya Sparrow (Fair) EVERYONE PLEASE PRAY FOR KYM'S DAUGHTER, DELONIE! SHE HAD HER SECOND BRAIN SURGERY TODAY, IN LESS THAN A WEEK. THIS WAS HER 28TH BRAIN SURGERY. SHE IS AT UAMS AND IS HAVING POTENTIALLY LIFE THREATENING COMPLICATIONS, HEMMORAGE AND SWELLING. SHE NEEDS OUR PRAYERS RIGHT NOW!!!!!! WILL UPDATE AS INFORMATION BECOMES AVAILABLE.

Hey Everyone!!

I just wanted to let you know that my daughter is finally home!! She was discharged this morning. She is still having headaches, but they are nothing compared to what they were. After her second brain surgery, she developed a large air pocket in her brain and that was scary, but she got through that ok. The neurosurgeons said she probably still has a little air in her brain and that is probably why she is still having the headaches. Jokingly, we told her we could officially call her a "true airhead" lol. He told us that it could take up to two weeks for it to all get out. Her spirits are much better today and she is glad to finally be home. I imagine it's only a matter of hours before she gets on her facebook. I think she has been having facebook withdrawels. lol

She will go back in two weeks to have all the stitches taken out from both surgeries. As far as if the surgery was a success, only time will tell. This last surgery made her 29th brain surgery since December 2000, so she has a lot of scar tissue from all of the surgeries. That makes it more difficult for the surgeons to do what they need to do. We are keeping our fingers crossed and praying that God will keep his healing hands on her.

Thank all of you for your unconditional support through prayers, letters, phone calls and cards.

Okay class of 86. There is going to be an All MHS Alumni & Family picnic on May 16th. It will be held at Willow Springs Water Park. We need to represent!!!! (and not only because I am on the planning committee--don't ask how-LOL). I will keep you updated about registration and there will be a website dedicated to this up and running by April 16 and it will contain all information including fees. Info will also be posted on Facebook and Classmates.com. Let's not be outdone by any other class! Remember...Class of 86 are we; mighty LIONS we'll ALWAYS be!!!

First off, I want to say welcome to all the new classmates!!

I also want to let you all know that I am going to be doing away with this forum and adding a new threaded forum.

I hope to have this in place by the end of the weekend. The new forum will allow you to receive emails when something new is posted in the forum. I will be doing away with the prayer page that I have now and putting a prayer thread up on the new forum. That way, each of you can post your on requests and respond to someone elses prayer request.

Kim, Thanks for hooking up everybody with a cool place to hang out. I sent you a email with some personal stuff in it, hope to hear back from you on that.

Long story on how I got here but I have been living in Thailand for the last 8 years. Life has been good, every adventure I ever dreamed up staring out the windows of Geyer Springs Elementary I have chased down and owned, Army, Europe, Epic Travel, Cowboy, Horses, Alaska, Sled Dogs, Sailboats, Island Life, and more.

Somewhere in all that I finally learned how to type and use a computer. After a good run of beer, bourbon, and neon, I have finally settled down into my version of a family man, somehow shedding my appetite for destruction.

These days I have a blacksmith shop and research weapons in Asia. I just got back from two weeks in Malaysia where I was checking out tribal swords used by headhunters and their trophy skulls.

Big Shout Out to Montes, Warwick, Mullins Boys, Jay T, Woodruff, and Andy Calhoun!
