Happy belated birthday! I'm sorry I didn't get to send you anything. I started a new job Monday and I was shopping all day for new work clothes on Saturday and Sunday. So, I didn't even get on the site. I hope you had a great birthday!!!

Hello Everyone!!

I am getting emails from people from other classes that are wanting to join out site as a "guest member" of our 1986 class site.

The survey is still a work in progress to get other classmates opinions on whether or not to allow other guests onto our site. So far, 61.5% of our class thinks we should allow guests to join our site and create their own profiles. 38.5% say no.

Considering 26 people have voiced their opinions, should we wait a little longer for those who have not voted yet? We have 85 classmates that have joined so far, but only 26 have taken the survey.

I am keeping the email addresses of the "guests" who want to join, but I have informed them that this is a 1986 class website and that I have a survey in place whether or not to allow guests. I informed them that I would post a message on the forum as well as send out an email to everyone to ask their opinions on this matter.

If you haven't completed the survey, please do so and you guys let me know what you want to do. Afterall, this site is for ALL OF US!!!

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!!!

As far as getting together, I will have to play it by ear. We have a lot going on this month. I will be watching the forum to see what date you guys come up with.

I also wanted to let you all know that there are some new features on our website if you haven't noticed. Now you can actually see who is online when you are visiting our site.

You also have the option to edit your classmate profile and allow others to make comments on your profile. Kinda like facebook.

HELLO ALL!!! Yes..I am one of those that lurks around and reads everyones post. So this is for you Kim!! Hope everyone is doing good! As some of you know last year was pretty bad for me! On April 1st (yeah...April Fools Day) I fell in my kitchen and broke both legs (FEMUR on one leg and TIBULA/FIBULA on the other) So I was off work for almost 2 1/2 months. Went back to work in wheelchair...sometimes you gotta do what you aren't ready to do! Then just before I got to start walking (end of July) my son had a car wreck Aug 6th and broke his neck (C2 thru C7) and was put in ICU at Childrens and they finally put a HALO on him. He got it off Dec 2nd. So I hope and pray that this year will be less challenging than last! I am expecting my first grandbaby in April from my eldest son's fiance!!! I am so excited. So keep our crazy family in your prayers...LORD knows we need all the ones we can get!!

Lisa Girl, if I were there with ya, I would give you a HUGE HUG!! I know what it is like to be trying to recover from your own health problems and trying to help your own children grow up and be responsible.

I was wheelchair bound from 07/03 thru 03/04 and then I helped my daughter recover from a coma she was in back in January 04'. We spent the rest of the year recuperating from that. It was tough, but we did it! I am just sooooooooooooo blessed that we pulled through that and my daughter recovered from it completely. I hope your son has a speedy recovery from his injuries, but keep your faith girl! Congratulations on the new upcoming grandbaby! My 1st blood grandchild turns 1 next weekend. Keep me updated sweetie!!
