Jim Miller

I barely graduated, I couldn't decide what I wanted to do. I decided to join the Navy. I married Kellye Mcdowell in 1987, and we traveled with the Navy to Italy. Lived there 3 years and came back. I started working at J.A. Riggs Caterpillar and have been there almost 16 years now. During all of that time, Kellye and I managed to have three healthy, wonderful, intelligent, and talented children. We have focused on trying to provide a good life for them.

I really have a lot of great memories of a lot of people. I always thought that I could remember everybody and not forget any of the details of our short lives, but I have found that I have forgotten. There were a lot of people that I really am glad I knew. As time goes by, it seems so strange that we really spent a relatively short time together, but those years were so formative and special, that I am really moved by those memories. I guess my memories mostly relate to out of school fun, riding insanely on supebikes and riding wheelies and generally acting like an idiot. I am suprised that I actually survived those years.
