I think I have probably traveled by far the most out of all. I went to Arkansas Tech University for a year then enlisted in the Army Reserves. I moved to Savannah, GA and worked as a journeyman painter, walking I-beams spraying steel about 100-200 feet in the air. I got a little home sick and came back to Little Rock and went to UALR for a semester before enlisting in the Army full-time and being stationed in Illeshiem, Germany for 2 years. I traveled all over Europe, playing softball with my post team. From Germany, I was stationed at Fort Story, VA (Virginia Beach). At Fort Story, I was selected for the All-Army softball team and traveled all over the states playing softball for the Army full-time. Then I went on to the armpit of the Army, Fort Polk, LA. After a small stay at Fort Polk, I went on to finish my degree in English and become an officer in the Army. With my butter bar (2nd lieutenant), I went to Fort Jackson to be 2nd in charge of about 300 soldiers. I continued my studies and got my Master's degree in Management Information Systems. After Fort Jackson, I got out of the Army and moved to Hawaii and lived there for 3 years. While in Hawaii, I was a public affairs officer for the Hawaii Army National Guard, and I worked full time as a web developer for Lockheed-Martin. I moved back to the main land in 2005, landing in Knoxville, TN. In Knoxville, I was a web programmer. While in Knoxville, my partner and I had two beautiful twin girls. I was up to 225 pounds! Whew, glad those days are over, but I would do it in a heart beat again to have my girls. They are wonderful. Deciding that my career choice with active duty Army ended too soon, I have since joined back up and am stationed at Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO as a public affairs officer.
Since writing all of this, I have retired and am living in Dover, AR. I've also transitioned from female to male and changed my name. My name now is Evan. I'm still the same ole person, just look a little different and am much happier.
