Cyndi Stiles Franklin

My husband and I are Pastors at Cornerstone Church in Fresno, CA - have been since 1993. I hold credentials with the Assemblies of God as a Pastor. I am the Worship Leader here, Women's Leader and Marriage Ministry Coordinator. We have three awesome children, who are all working in the ministry alongside us. One of our sons is studying to become a Law Enforcement Officer this year. In August, Jim and I will have been married 38 years. We have two grandchildren: Ethan and Vera Grace, and another on it's way. God has been good & faithful to us. We are seeing lives positively changed every week - what a thrill. Our ministry is reaching those on the streets, pulling them out of addictions and putting them in the Father's capable hands; teaching people who love Him, to serve others. I have the BEST job. My closest friends were Cindy Calvert, Keith Holloway, and Wally Hinson. We had some great times with Mr. D'Armond, in jazz ensemble. I would LOVE to have some of the recordings from back then. I was in the Miss McClellan pageant, with Janna Fleming. "I'm gonna wash that man right outa my hair" was the main kick line song. Cindy Calvert and I along with one other person (again trying to remember who) sang in a trio for one of the talent competitions. We looked like and sang like the Andrew Sisters. We sang "The Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" - they thought we were miming to the original recording, so we didn't make the cut. We were all doing our own harmonies. It was so cool. Those were some very extraordinary times for me. Good memories...riding in Cindy's little yellow bug through the parades. Ha!
