30-yr. Reunion Info

30-yr. Reunion will be Friday, Oct. 21 and Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011 

Friday night will be a casual grad-night mixer, which will be at Steve Bowman's office downtown (The old "Fish Factory", 1200 Scott St., near the old Juanita's restaurant location.)  The business name is "CSE".  Friday's grad night will be from 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Saturday night will be a sit-down dinner/banquet for classmates and spouses/significant others.  The Saturday night function will be at the Doubletree Hotel downtown, near the River Market.  It will be in their salon rooms or grand ballroom, salons A-C.  Saturday's dinner will be 6:00 pm to at least 10:00 pm.

You may register for the reunion using the form at the bottom of the "Reunion Registration" page, available at the upper left side of the home page.  If you need a printed paper copy of the registration form, please e-mail me ("Contact Us" tab at top of page).  Registration info as as follows, and payment details will be provided based on your answers on the registration form or questionnaire. 

  • Friday night/grad night will cost $25/person in advance, and $30 at the door
    • We will have finger foods and various appetizers, cold drinks, music and good times.  Beer will also be available. (We can't sell beer and wanted to keep alcohol separate from the overall cost, so we will sell cups for $5.00.  If you want beer, you can buy a cup and have unlimited access to the keg.)  
    • We have asked the classes of '80 and '82 to join us at our Friday grad night event
  • Saturday night will cost $45/single and $85/couple with advance reservations
    • Saturday night's meal will be "Chef's Buffet", including:  Assorted Salads, Crudités Display, Sliced and Whole Fruits, Baked Orange Roughy w/Lemon Cream Sauce, Chicken Marsala, Carved Slow Roasted Prime Rib of Beef, Oven-Roasted New Potatoes, Fresh Vegetable Medley, Green Peas with Pearl Onions, Rolls and Butter, Assorted Cakes and Pies, Coffee & Tea

    • Cash Bar
    • Note that the Doubletree should have a block of rooms on Saturday night, for those who might be coming in from out of town or any other classmate who wishes to stay downtown.  Each person would make his/her own reservations and just tell the hotel you're with our class.  The room rate for 1-2 people occupancy should be $99/night, if you're interested.
  • A photographer will be on site both nights and will take "buddy pics" as well as group pics
  • We plan to sell T-shirts for $15/ea., with a $2.00 up-charge for larger size shirts

REUNION EVENT PAYMENTS:

We will accept checks (payable to "Mills High Reunion 1981", c/o Ben Thomas, 3200 S. Shackleford, Ste. 9, LR, AR  72205) and PayPal payments.  If you choose PayPal, please note that there will be an additional fee of 2.9% + $.30 added to your total.  For instance, if you plan to attend the Friday night grad night ($25), and will attend the Saturday dinner banquet with a guest ($85), your total would be $110 + $3.19 (2.9%) + $.30 = $113.49.  Please just notify Karen Greenlee Rodgers if you want to pay electronically, and she will send you an invoice based on your chosen activities.  She can also answer questions about specific amounts due.
