Comments:

Let's see ... after graduating, I married Dr. Collar's wife and ran off with her. Okay, maybe not. I spent a year in Canada playing hockey, then spent 5 years at Cornell University 4 of 'em playing hockey. I worked in NY for a short bit, in Toronto for a short bit (for Ford), then moved back to Michigan. It's possible I may not be here too much longer though, so it's nice to keep in touch!

School Story:

I was the ultimate nerd in all the way through high school. I knew nothing but taking tests and playing hockey, so I didn't have too much of a social life, if I'm remembering correctly. I had a couple of crushes in high school, but they can remain anonymous since I was too shy and embarrassed to talk to girls back then! I remember Flemming and Thom Snider burning down that band room after Snider threw his cigarette in the trash can. I remember Paul Rockwood calling me "dudeman" every time he saw me. I remember a very short, (sorry, but) obese lady who I visited semi-frequently in detention after school ... hehe. I remember Mr. Van-something, a tall, skinny science teacher and self-admitted nerd; he was funny. The teacher where we dissected the fetal pig, and that guy always had sweaty armpits. Dana Bouchet (a year older) was in that class and apparently liked me, but I was too embarrassed to talk to her. I remember Ms. Hendrie (?), my French teacher where I sat next to Rick Halmakangas in the back and drove her crazy. I remember Sanjay Kacholiya, who I still keep in touch with, being the model "class President". And was there anybody here who was NOT at the end-of-the-senior-year party at my parent's house on Curtis? Few were invited, but Darryl Rzepka went to the Taco Bell (which I think is gone now) and soon, there were a couple hundred people there. Completely wrecked the place. Dan Gibbons and Dave Amey tore down the basketball net (thanks to Halmakangas, Plageonhoff, Dan Courtney, and others for helping put that and a new mailbox back up the next day). Lots of memories -- many of sure I haven't listed or have slightly forgotten but will remember someday, I'm sure.

Too bad we didn't have digital cams and cell phones in high school -- I'd have a lot more pics in here!

This was in Toronto last New Year's Eve ... 12/31/11, and yeah ... I was pretty pissed off that we were having our picture taken while eating ... so that's why I look a little peeved!
