Laurel County High School
Class Of 1985

Welcome to the Laurel County High School Class Of 1985 web site!

Remember back in 1985, when Dire Straits gave us money for nothing, Madonna was like a virgin, Hagar was in and Roth was out, Huey Lewis wondered if this is it, and Bruce Springsteen danced with Courtney Cox?  Seems like yesterday huh.  Where did the time go?  When did we become “that old guy” to those kids who look much younger than we ever did in high school?  Believe it or not, that is us.  We are twenty-five years older than we were the first time we saw The Breakfast Club or the last time we watched Dallas.  So now what?  I think it’s time for a party!  Let’s celebrate the passing of twenty-five years.  After all, we’ve left our big bangs & acid wash jeans behind us and experienced real life!  We’ve all had successes & failures, beginnings & endings, highs & lows.  These varied experiences have made each one of us much more interesting as people than we were twenty-five years ago.  So let’s do it; let’s get together.   Let’s remind ourselves of those carefree days we didn’t fully appreciate.  But more importantly, let’s share the people we’ve become.  Let’s rekindle friendships while finding commonalities we share with people we never really knew in high school.  July 31, 2010, is the time to make it happen.   Your reunion committee has some great ideas and plans, and there is room for everyone to join in the fun.  We hope you’ll join us!  Read further to find out more.
