I remember sitting in T.R.'s (funny how he went from "TR" to our current mayor) biology class. Just outside the door, someone had put a small "bomb" of some kind in the blue lockers and it went off (no major explosion but I'm sure now they would evacuate the building and call Homeland Security. Anyway, the blast set off the water sprinklers and we're all running to get under those counters we used for dissecting and we look up and there sits Troy, calm as can be, at his desk with his umbrella over his head. (Remember, he never went anywhere without one. Wonder if he is still that way now?) But everyone got a big laugh out of it.

Good Lord, to think it has been 25 years since we all parted ways.  I am really glad that we have this opportunity to get back together, so thanks to those that have held this class together all these years.  I think of all of you often in both the present and the past...all those memories almost all of them good.  Still defend today to all the new youth that there will never be another decade as good as the 80's.

I wonder if we will like 80's music as much when we are 70 years old as we did in high school?  It always amazes me how the things you liked in high school are the things that stick with you the rest of your life (for the most part).  Although I love the 80's music, I am a big time bluegrass fan now.

I look forward to seeing all my classmates, and most of all, trying to figure out who is who.  As I have been checking the pictures out regularly, I have also been trying to match the name to a face.  Most of the time, as soon as I see the ones that have put a senior picture with their profile, I know instantly who they are.  I really hope that there are more of our classmates that log on, set up a profile and plan to participate in our reunion.  I look forward to seeing everyone!
