Robert Sullivan

Robert Tew Sullivan passed away on October 30, 2008. Robert was a 15-year resident of Roswell, in Fulton County, GA, and was 54 years old. He was born on March 28, 1954, the son of Othel H. and Mary Helen Sullivan. Robert had four brothers and a sister: Glenn Allen, of Tempe, AZ; Thomas Harding and Lemuel Othel, both of Altamonte Springs, FL; Darrell Joseph, of Oviedo, FL; and sister Mary Carol Sullivan, of Smyrna, TN. Robert was survived by his wife, Mary Guilloud Sullivan and their son, Owen Alexander Sullivan, one sister and four brothers.

Robert graduated with honors as a National Merit Finalist from Lyman High School, Longwood, FL in 1971. He also received a Certificate of Merit from the Florida Board of Regents. Robert attended Rollins College, Winter Park, FL, on a National Merit Scholarship and graduated in 1975 with a BS in Biology. He then attended the University of Florida in Gainesville where he earned his Masters Degree in Entomology.

His career was varied, but eventually he went to work for AT&T and became a database manager. When he left AT&T some years later, he worked for the CDC and managed databases in their labs until shortly before his death.

Robert enjoyed hiking, camping, and canoeing in his Mohawk canoe.
