Nicole Short (Hallman) Andrew's big day is tomorrow! He starts Pre-K! WOW how time flies!!! Update: Andrew LOVED his first day & he really likes his teacher "Mrs. Jossie" we couldn't be happier. We hope everyone else is enjoying school as well =) byeee

Hooray for Andrew!! Welcome to the world of school!! I am glad we love Mrs. Jossie! That is important!

Susan is too busy at work. Alec and Aidan start a new school today. St. Leonaed's. Alec is in Ms. Harleys class and 2nd grade Aidan is in Ms. Micks Class.

Matthew moves back to the dorm today and classes start tomorrow.

Where has summer gone?????

Tori, do you feel better? Zack: Did your team win last night?

Anyone have news to share?????

Nicole Short (Hallman)

I'm going back to the same college I went to in 2004! Good Ol' PBCC =) I'm going to be studying Sonography but first I have to get a degree in Radiography =)I figure with my situation (2 kids) its the best fit for me being as it is only 2 years of school and the pay is pretty darn good. Plus I'm super interested in it =) hehe I'll keep you all posted =) Prayers are MUCH needed thanks!

Cara Patterson (Short) Hi everyone. Sounds like a lot has been going on - I'm glad I'm through with the school days! We went to the lake again this weekend - got back today. Mickey is doing great! Still sleeps a lot but not near as much and he's able to do a lot more when he is awake. The cardiac rehab is really working to build his strength. Call sometimes or come over!! We miss everyone!

Oh My Goodness!! No One has been on here to post since last Sunday!! Shame! Shame!

Nicole: Hope your first week of school went well. Hang your papers on the fridge with Andrew's!!
Hope you are enjoying your house guest! I know he will enjoy spending time with you, Justice and those darling babies!!

Lisa and Tori: how was the concert? I did not get a phone call from there tonight!

Lisa and Vicki: Enjoyed spending time with the two of you in "Lil New Orleans". Let's do it again soon!!

Johnny: How is Rocky? Hope it is calmer in your house this mating season!!

Mickey: Glad to hear you are feeling better! Hope to get over there sometime soon.

Glad to hear better news then was expected for Aunt Carol. Let's remember to keep her in our prayers especially on the first when the dr explains what is going on now and what they can expect.

I ask again....Anyone with news to share????????

Sherri: Are you all better now? Does Spencer like school? Any updates on baby Nick and the crazy???

Jenny...FINALLY!!! I thought this site was dead!!

There is this little place on the corner of Baxter and Winter Avenues. Monday thru Friday it is open for lunch and dinner and it is a fish house. On Sat and Sun for BREAKFAST ONLY they serve chicory coffee and beignets just like bourbon street in New Orleans. So Vicki and I go several times a year on Saturday. Through the years Sherri and Mom have joined us among others, and a couple of weeks ago Lisa finally agreed to join us. We go around 9:30 and leave around 11-11:30. Next time we will let everyone know who wants to join us!

Aunt Carol has been having dizzy spells (only a couple). Went to her doctor and he scheduled tests. She has a mass on her brain. Evidently it is not malignant (according to Mom). She got out of the hospital on Saturday. She will meet with doctors along with her sons and sisters to discuss treatment, surgery. etc. on the 1st of September.

Now you know all the latest news that I know. See you on Tuesday at Cara's.

Hellooooooo.....Boy, Crickets everywhere!!
Don't think you will see this, but just in case...Donn's mom's funeral visitation is Monday 1-3 pm with funeral 3:30 or so. Vicki and Jim, thanks so much for the soup. Lisa, Scotty and Tori...We LOVED the lasagne and Tom could not get over your generosity making and then bringing over dinner. He was overwhelmed by that!!! Thank you, Thank you, thank you!! We love you!!
