The weekend of September 21-22 is set for WHS '68 50th Reunion.  Each class member has been sent an email invitation with a link to sign up.  Saturday, September 22, from 7:00 PM until 11:00 PM the main event will be at The Louisville Boat Club.  There will be music, heavy appetizers, and a cash bar.   The cost for members of the class will be $100 and guests can attend for $50.  Your check made out to WHS Class of '68 will finalize your reservation.  Doug Madison will handle the finances, and his address is included with the RSVP.  Checks are due by August 1, 2018.  

There are three other events planned for the weekend with no cost to participate.  It is not necessary to RSVP for these events, but there is a place on the invitation to check which ones you are interested in attending.  This will give us a general idea of how many to expect.  

On Friday, September 21, at 6:00 PM there will be an informal gathering at Captain's Quarters.  We will have an area set up to gather, and you may dine and drink as you wish.  

On Saturday, September 22, there will be a tour of Waggener at 10:00 AM for all that are interested in revisiting the hallways.  Guests are welcome, and we will meet in the main lobby.

On Saturday, September 22, a group will meet at Churchill Downs in the 3rd Floor Clubroom for an afternoon of racing beginning at 12 noon.

The Hilton Garden Inn at 400 Sherburn Lane near the Mall of St. Matthews is offering a reunion discount.  Contact the hotel directly at 502-690-3325 for prices and reservations.  We're all old enough for AARP discounts if you want to shop around for another location.
