Elizabeth Jane Sunstrom, the daughter of John and Patricia Baldwin, passed away on 01 April 2018 at her home in Austin, Texas. She is survived by her mother, Patricia, husband, Thomas Sunstrom, her three daughters Hannah, Harper, and Nora, and her two brothers, Barry and David Nash. Betsy was born and grew up in Lufkin, TX and graduated from Lufkin High School in 1987. She and her family were long time members of the local First United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Centenary College where she was a member of Chi Omega Sorority and subsequently earned her Masters' Degree (MFA) in Theater from the University of California-Irvine. She dedicated her life to educating others in speech and theater in the Round Rock, TX public school district, and in nurturing and lovingly caring for her children and family. She was a bright shining ray of sunshine wherever she went and delighted in the relationships she had with her many friends. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. A memorial service will take place at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 3003 Northland Drive, Austin, TX 78757, on Saturday, 07 April 2018, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society or to the John Baldwin Scholarship Fund at Angelina College, 3500 S 1st Street, Lufkin, TX 75901 might be given in honor of Betsy.
