Rolanda passed after a long fight with breast cancer. She was a loving kind person.

Funeral services for Rolanda LeShay Johnson are scheduled for Saturday at 11 a.m. in the First Missionary Baptist Church with the pastor W.R. Ricks officiating. Interment will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Colonial Mortuary Chapel. Rolanda will lie in state in the First Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday morning from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Rolanda was a graduate of Lufkin High School, Class of 1986. She later became a graduate from Massey Business College and Angelina College where she received Associate Degrees. She had been employed by Child Care Services of Lufkin for ten years. Survivors: Parents: W.H. (Mildred) Johnson of Lufkin; sisters, Stephanie (Merlin) Roberts, of Fresno, Texas, Cassander (Roland) Range of Mesquite, Texas; grandmother, Vergie Johnson-Davis; nieces, Jasmine Range, Mariah Lee and Erica Range; nephew, Merdarius Roberts; brother, Gregory and wife of Houston, Texas; 14 aunts and 9 uncles; a wealth of cousins and friends.
